Your safety, comfort and enjoyment remain our highest priorities. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable event experience, we have significantly increased our security and welfare provisions for 2026. On the day, we will have a large team of qualified first-aiders, an ambulance with a paramedic crew, and an on-site doctor. We have also expanded our security team to more than 85 personnel, plus two specialist drug detection dog units. Please be assured that everyone entering the racecourse will be subject to our admission procedures, including drug detection screening. Any person found attempting to bring illegal substances onto the premises will be refused entry without refund. Drug detection teams will also be operating throughout the event, and any positive detections on-site will result in immediate removal from the venue. We reserve the right to involve the police where appropriate. We would also like to remind guests that no food or drink may be brought onto the racecourse. As part of our event security measures, vehicle access through the main Blue Entrance Gates will be restricted. Parking will be available only in Car Parks A and B and spaces are limited. We strongly recommend travelling by taxi, public transport or on foot where possible. Once the designated car parks are full, any additional vehicles will need to park away from the racecourse, which may involve a longer walk to the venue. Please also note that bags larger than A4 size will not be permitted on site. We kindly ask that you do not bring larger bags with you to avoid delays at entry points. Finally, a reminder that gates will open at 12:00 noon. To help minimise queueing and ensure a smooth arrival experience, we recommend that guests do not arrive significantly before this time. Please be aware that we are now cashless on all bar and food outlets accepting only debit or credit cards. Please be assured that turnstiles and betting facilities will continue to accept cash for the time being. For those customers who either forget their cards or do not possess a debit card or credit card, we have special vouchers within the main office where you will be able to exchange your cash for vouchers and should you not spend your vouchers on the day you will be able to exchange them back for cash before you leave (up to 30 minutes before we close), or use them on a future meeting. On this day the outlet will be situated in the Main Office.
WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY REGARDING ILLEGAL DRUGS AND FOR YOUR SAFETY AND WELLBEING PASSIVE DRUG DETECTION DOGS WILL BE ON SITE AND WORKING ON THIS FIXTURE, ANYONE CAUGHT WITH ANY ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES WILL BE REFUSED ENTRY OR EJECTED FROM THE VENUE, PLEASE ALSO NOTE FOOD OR DRINK CANNOT BE BROUGHT INTO THE RACECOURSE AND BAGS WILL BE SEARCHED AS STANDARD.
